This year's event anticipates to be Seltrans best yet with an unprecedented number of businesses from both the Seltrans and Thames Gateway sub-regions registering to come along and find out more about how workplace travel planning can benefit their organisation.
Carbon Crunch organised by Seltrans in partnership with Thames Gateway Travel Plan Network (TGTPN) will provide local businesses with high quality networking opportunities and the chance to hear about how over 200 SMEs across London are reducing travel costs and their carbon footprint while improving staff satisfaction and productivity.
In today’s climate of economic uncertainty and focus on sustainability, a workplace travel plan can be an important tool. Available for free through this Transport for London initiative, every business should be considering the benefits a travel plan can provide..
Kulveer Ranger, Director of Transport at the Greater London Authority, is opening the event setting out the particular emphasis on the Mayor’s commitment to travel planning across London. The day will continue with workshops and presentations to equip businesses with the know-how and tools needed to begin work on developing a travel plan. On hand too will be experienced travel planners giving businesses the opportunity to an individual 1:1 session to discuss their organisation’s needs and how to proceed.
Places are limited and it is advised for businesses to book up ASAP. Visit www.carboncrunch.org.uk to register online or alternatively call 020 8622 4482.
