Seltrans employs two sub-regional Travel Plan Coordinators who are on hand to give help and advice to organisations wishing to begin the development process of a travel plan. The coordinators will guide you through the step by step process, supply travel surveys for your staff and/or visitors to fill in, analyse these results for you and then offer advice on which initiatives will be best for you based on these results.

As part of the popular London-wide Take a Stand Scheme, Seltrans can offer up to 20 free Sheffield cycle stands to businesses in South-East London. Sheffield stands are loops which take 2 bikes per stand (one each side) and can be bolted or cemented into the ground.

Seltrans can offer up to £5000 match funding to each organisation developing a Travel Plan for use in implementing sustainable transport measures. Spending of this money is often unique to each organisation and has varied considerably. Haleys Ltd used their funding to install video conferencing equipment to reduce travel between their head office and other sites for meetings. CEN used theirs to purchase a weatherproof cycle shelter to cover their bicycle stands, whilst Independant Diplomat installed a shower to encourage staff to cycle to and from work.
